copying them into an I386 subdirectory!
I keep a couple of parallel-to-SCSI adapters around and a SCSI CDROM
drive for such an occasion. Works just fine. I wonder if a
parallel-to-IDE adapter would also work. The only floppy used is a
MSDOS boot floppy with the appropriate drivers. Not blindingly fast,
but not needful of endless disk swapping.
I suspect a similar setup could be done using Interlink over a serial
port, but I've never tried.
