A friend of mine sent me this URL; an article about the
popularity of the
Atari 2600.

Last I heard the current owners of Atari had been considering changing
*their* companies name to Atari as the Atari name is *FAR* better known.
Then there is the fact that in Europe you can still aparently buy new TOS
based systems.
