I made the observation that the connector looked like EISA. Just because the
edge connector is the same doesn't mean that IS EISA, though it may just be
using the same connector for signal transport.

EISA?? That doesn't sound right to me. Some of
those computers even
have PCI slots, but how could PCI run through an EISA slot? Would that
be a huge restriction? Most of the ones I have seen are either ISA,
with only ISA slots for the cards, or some other proprietary connector,
and/or cables.
