Anyone had any experience doing BGAs with hot air
jets? The
tutorials on SparkFun make it look at least doable, and the machines
are less than $200. Very tempting.
I haven't tried it, but I'm bound to before too long. I have a hot air machine
here. I also have a small X-ray machine for post-soldering inspection of the inner balls,
but haven't quite worked out the imaging end of it.
