Are they used in all the C64s? I know somebody that
has a pile of them and
he was selling them for $1/ea at the last hamfest.
They were used in most of the older brown 64s. The later 64C has the
HMOS-2 8580 instead of the NMOS 6581 (not pin or power-compatible), and
many have a 'monster GAL' instead of the PLA and some other support ICs.
