I could solder the five wires to the conector pins (I

connector in order to get to the pins.
Most likely not all pins are used; if memory serves there is
5V, ground, data, and clock. You can probably use a search engine
to find a PS/2 connector pinout on the web. And you can get PS/2
connectors at electronics stores like Fry's.
