Hoping not to get too far off topic, I had occasion to mail
a CD-Rom to a friend in Detroit, total distance about twenty five
miles, and was asked at the post office if I wanted to send it
airmail. I had visions of a letter carrier hopping into a Cub and
zipping over the border, but was informed that the letter would have
to go from Windsor to Toronto, from Toronto to Chicago, and then back
to Detroit, total about 800 miles. Isn't modern technology wonderful?
