A while back a
guy (ebay ID was something similar to
'jeffking') was selling cartons of paper tape for $4.00 each.
Someone here said that the tape they got was oiled, don't
remember who. I bought a box because all the tape I have is
unoiled, but what I got was definitely not oiled (nor had it
been in the past).
It's no big deal at all, I'm happy to have more tape
(especially at $4 a carton!!). But I was curious if others
got in on this deal and if what they got was oiled or not? I
wanted oiled for an ASR33...
His eBay user ID was jeffking500. I bought 4 boxes and the rolls I
got were
all definitely oiled. He still has some for sale. See item number
