I just stepped over a PCMCIA serial port new in the box at the ACCRC
today.
I stress that this would only run sproadically, and
from a dial-up line
that I get 48K out of most days... so I don't see any reason for more
than two or three users at once.
A dial-up would be way retro-cool.
