Well that's funny, I don't where my mis-perception as to the origins originated
but I think I've had it since way back when. (Somebody else ordered the
software package - I just programmed with it).
(As I've said before on the list) there was at
least one third-party producing
a TCP/IP stack for VMS before DEC got around to it.
