Does the hardware still match the old buses specs? Using thru-the-hole
older components how much under the spec are they since I am guessing
they where developed in the era of 4K core memory and several feet of busing
between rack units. If newer hardware components are used for memory
can a reduced bus spec be developed saving the older hardware for places
that need original components.
