I powered on the machine this morning after checking the capacitors in the
PSU and it came up first time without issue. I have had to replace the
batteries, which had leaked, but thankfully this does not seem to have done
any damage.

One thing that I did not get with the machine was the HPIB cable to connect
it to the 9121 disk drive unit (which may need a bit of attention). I had a
quick look on Ebay but the only ones I could see were fairly expensive and
across the pond in the USA. Are these cables hard to find?
They used ot be very easy to find becuase a lot of test equipment had
HPIB (GPIB, IEEE-488) ports. But they were never cheap.
For a couple of devices (HP150 and HP9121) close together you will
probslby get away with a couple of 24 pin Microribbon plugs crimped ot a
bit of IDC ribbon cable.
