That's interesting. These days it's (depressingly) more like: "The belief in
the ability to sell a certain idea...". Whether the idea's actually any good
or not is beside the point, so long as someone can get rich off it :-(
The quote is talking about support more in terms of knowing what you're
doing and where you're heading rather than money.
