Or developing temporary schizophrenia. I had to work 36 straight hours
in such a room once, and I was in my 20s and had stayed up for 36+ hours
many times before without a problem... but after 36 hours in the room
(was doing a massive upgrade), I kid you not I started to hear voices.
First whispers, then vocal banter (all gibberish, nothing like "redrum"
or anything). Adrenaline through the roof. That's when I called my
boss and told her the deadline would have to slip 8+ hours while I slept
and calmed down.
