I was just reading about Ken Olsen's afterDec startup, "Advanced Modular
Solutions, Inc.". If I get the intent of the company, it was to make
disparate
systems easily interconnectable. It would not be beyond the scope of what
I saw for them to "modularize" products from other companies, like SGI.
Don't believe the company is current, though.
If it's an AMSI, it's rare.
