Hi,
I?ve just acquired one of these myself. My understanding is it?s quite straight forward
to make any full RS232 compliant host drive it. The language it understands is HPGL --
relatively straight forward markup in pure ASCII. Technically you just write the ASCII
stream out to the serial port. I?ve seen a number of sample files publicly available. And
there are some old source code dump of file conversion utilities from other graphic
formats. I believe it?s still one of the Dia export formats. Once I?ve managed to recharge
the pens on mine, I?ll be looking to try some of this myself.

Regarding HP plotters, I have a Dec branded HP

Is there software on RT-11 or RSX-11 which can draw something
simple and have it drawn on this plotter?
Maybe some examples in here?
