I must be one
of the few that liked classic Mac OS and not OSX (why
remake a decade old user interface?).
Because it worked well and everyone liked it? It's not automatically
"bad" because it's not "new", even though that seems to be The
American
Way now.
It's always a breath of fresh air to be in OS 9, though my daily desktop
OS X is still 10.4 (and will always be, as long as my daily driver Macs
remain PowerPC), so I don't have the greyrot that set in with 10.5.
It's fun taking an OS 9 laptop on the road and getting lots of fascinated
looks. And, omg, a spatial Finder. What a concept.
