DEC LA-100 Printer - Free to a good home

Somebody gave me this a couple of years back and it's been sitting on a shelf ever since. Now it's time to clean off the shelf. If someone wants it before I haul it off to the landfill, please let me know. I never tried it, but the person that gave it to me said that it was working for them. Local pickup in Southern New Hampshire (USA). If someone wants it bad enough and can't pick it up, I'm willing to pack it up and ship it for them. -Mardy

Using Hummingbird with DECWindows

I am experimenting with using Hummingbird Exceed to get a DECWindows environment running on my PC. I have managed to get this to work using XDM, but there are some other things about Exceed that I don't really understand and would like to explore. The first is that Hummingbird offers an option to use something called PCX$SERVER. I have not been able to find out much about this and was wondering if someone might tell me what this is and where I might find it? The second is that Hummingbird also seems to offer DECnet as a transport, but I don't see how to set this up on the PC side and again the docs I have don't say anything on this. Does anyone know how you might do this? Thanks Rob

There weren't any Mac-hosted Pascal compiler environments that could fit into <=512Kb (128K Macs could support 256KBit DRAMs).
