I went to a small local hamfest yesterday and picked
up a DTR-1. It's complete
and includes all the accessories including the original boxs, papers, SW
disks, manuals, PSU, slide off cover, pouch, external floppy. The only thing
wrong with it is the battery is dead (no problem, 6 A size NiMH cells) and the
hard drive has zillions of errors. I'm attempting to reformat the hard drive
but the previous owner says that the drive is bad and needs to be replaced.
Does anyone have a HP 40 Mb 1.3 inch KittyHawk drive that you're willing to
part with? Or does anyone know if anyone ever came up with a way to install a
different drive such as one of the PCMCIA drives or the IBM Microdrive in it?
