There's not a lot of difference between -40 degrees Fahrenheit and
-40 degrees Celsius (nor even Centigrade)
If you are dealing with Kelvin or Rankin, then you have other issues to
deal with!
BTW. I drilled a few 1/4" holes here in Canada.
