Erm, sounds like that AMI chip is a clone of Motorola's 6847 VDG, which was
used in Tandy's CoCo 1 & 2, and the MC-10.
I wonder:
1) if they're pin compatible,
2) if they've got added functionality -- might be fun to play with in one
of my CoCo's if there is!
