Everybody takes the Wal-Mart approach to retailing . . the customer
should know what he's getting, and offer no advice or suggestions. And
never make promises you can't keep.
You can raise a stink about that, but they really don't care, as long as
the dollars keep flowing, and they will with or without your patronage.
One word I am fond of throwing around in the presence of retail management
is "misrepresentation". It usually gets their attention. Even at
Wal-Mart.
