The Siemens 2002 was a decimal system with a word size of 12 decimals.
One decimal was usually coded as four binary bits as dual or gray
code. I guess the word size was 48 or more bits (you also had a sign).
14 bits is just weird and doesn't match the system. Unfortunately,
there are no technical documents online that could describe the
architecture of the 2002.
