Another part of the Rank organization, at one time, was precision measurement company
Taylor-Hobson. I remember several of their their instruments in the metrology lab at U.
Eindhoven.

Actually I knew them only as Rank Xerox many years ago, when they were commonly known as
office suppliers, e.g. photo copiers and printers.
