In addition, if you just want to read the tape and don't care about writing, then you
can use any one of a TK50/TK70 (with appropriate interface cards for QBus) or
TZ30/TZ85/TZ86/(and maybe )TZ87 with a SCSI interface on any platform. You still have to
be wary of tape shedding no matter what drive.
