What I did is use cgi-bin so site only has the media images and the
file list is generated by my scripts. Also have a search function. Yes
all somewhat dated now. What is in what directory is more tied
to where they came from than anything logical so has issues. Haven't looked
to know what is available for you to use off the shelf. Not saying what
I did is the best way to do things but may have useful ideas. At least
you don't have to deal with machine is 12 bit so files don't naturally
transfer to machines with multiple's of 8 bit.
