Maybe. I've seen a lot of floppy rot on some
of these rx50s. Black stuff
transfers to the head then the head damages other floppies. Result is a
mess and I have to check heads on all new disks.
Kind of like the tk50 tapes
Cyclomethicone works a treat for recovering data from these
shedding-like-an-angora-cat media.
