I’d be scared to try Goo Gone on a Apple Cube case.  IIRC, it’s not exactly normal plastic.

As Paul points out, try whatever is used on a spot that will be out of view.

This is a great question, it applies not just to the Cube, but to any Apple system of that vintage.
