This is great and I will look into this.

But my original request was for something a little bit different.  That
is, a properly specified core memory plane in working condition, because
I would very much like to interface with it from a modern computer.

Yes, I agree.  And somebody from a DEC list I'm on said that the number
of connectors and their spacing isn't anything they've personally seen
before.
