No. PATA means parallel ATA, that is, EIDE. It covered all EIDE
versions, original 40-wire 16 MB/s and the later 80-wire 33, 66, 100,
& 133 MB/sec standards.

In theory it also embraces pre-*E* IDE, that is, IDE, the old
sub-540MB non-LBA IDE drives.
