I don't currently have a scope.  I also don't have the knowledge to do 
what you suggest.

I think I'll test other aspects of the GoTEK, particularly ones that I 
have more trust in, before questioning the GoTEK.

I'm currently using the GoTEK on a new to me computer that I'm still 
figuring out and addressing other hardware problems on.
