Works fine here, and I haven't seen any gaps in operation. I see traffic regularly,
perhaps not quite daily but close.

Nope, it's not down.
One easy way to check is to check the list archives.
If somebody wanderers where the list archives are, just check the
headers of any message on the list.

All,
In sifting through the logs to check on this, I noticed that Google's
endless string of email-breaking demands has grown to include using TLS
encryption to send email to accounts there. That's enabled now; not
sure how it got missed in the first place, but... /shrug
This appears to have been significantly slowing down mail to @gmail
recipients, so hopefully life gets better.
