To my knowledge support for the MicroVAX 3100 started with VMS V5.2 or
5.2-1.
Sometimes there was a kind of preliminary support in earlier versions, but
the MicroVAX 3100 is definitively not listed in the VMS V5.1 Software
Product Description. Unfortunately I do not own an SPD for VMS V5.2 or VMS
V5.2-1, which could give the confirmation of official support.
Maybe there's info somewhere inther DEC manuals, too.

Unfortunately not. The depending on the model, MicroVAX 3100 series
ranges from VAX/VMS V5.1 and up. What model did you end up getting? Which
Ebay listing was it? (if you don't mind me asking).

There is another, better list of releaes but I can't seem to find it at
the moment. Hopefully someone else has it.
