You might search for "ribbon cable assembly" on Digikey. I thought they did
custom assemblies, apparently not but they have a lot of them in stock. 34 positions,
varying lengths from 2 to 36 inches, just to mention one example I looked for.

Thank you for your advice. I looked on Digikey and Mouser and and the connector prices
were aprox. $5.00 or more each and i would need 7 connectors. I found a company that
makes custom cables and I'm waiting for their quote.
In the meantime I thought I would check with the group and see what I could find that I
might be saving from a landfill.

that can supply them easily and cheaply, in any length you want.
