I'm always puzzled by "local only"
offers. It's expected that shipping
costs get added, but why would a seller make a decision that shipping is
"too expensive"? Logically the buyer should decide that, and if the
buyer will pay the shipping, even if pricy, why not do the transaction?
I can see that if it's a purchase. But if it's a "come and take it,"
sometimes
it's more trouble than it's worth. I remember quibbling with someone a few
years ago when I was getting rid of some software because he didn't like the
shipping quote. Plus, there's also the whole packing business.
