D-sub gear comes at varying prices; I guess consumer DE-9 stuff will be
cheap, but not necessarily when you ask for the wire-wrap variant. As to
DA-3W3 the first hit on the search engine is Farnell/Newark and you'll get
the prices there: nothing out of the ordinary IMHO.
