I'm a little surprised noone mentioned Google sheets or something that's
cloud native? Probably only accessible from newer systems though but I've
debated it since it would be instantly accessible from phone also.

Access is pretty good. Lotsa tutorials and works well for small databases.

speak to, however, is text mode. Loading my install in Lynx shows a
somewhat bewildering
version of the UI and the ever helpful message "Please activate
Javascript to use all
features," which I think pretty much says it all. I'm not able to do
anything meaningful
with it from Lynx, even after logging in.
