I took a SCSI-Pertec formatted converter that was part of a
Digi-Data streamer drive that was a nightmare. I attached
it to a CDC 92185 Keystone drive, and it worked ONCE, then
failed POST the next time I powered it on. It had a
switching supply that ran off the reel motor supply of the
original drive. Possibly you could find the same converter
from a Digi-Data streamer.
