Some of the pictures were staged in a parking lot. They probably didn’t have a room big
enough.

I have often wondered about the people we find in the various
DEC Processor (and other) books. Were they models in staged
photo-sessions or were these candid shots from DEC facilities
and if so, can anyone identify who they might be.
I don't know any specifics, but they generally look like staged sessions to me. Most
of those pictures are far too clean looking to be typical DEC facilities, and the people
in them are generally dressed too nice for the typical DEC workplace as well.
Some look like they might be set up at DEC training sites (like the one in Bedford, MA
near Mitre), that's about the only place I could think of where you'd see a nice
looking arrangement of hardware and people dressed in suits and ties.
