So /that's/ what Leech-Zmodem was. I knew it was banned on just about every
board in my NPA, and asking about it (or getting caught using it) was a bannable
offense. Cute.
Heck, last year I coded a version of Ymodem for an
embedded application.
It's pretty easy when all you have is a serial connection.
I keep copies of the Xmodem and Kermit protocol specs in my wiki in case I
need them again. Working in airgapped environments means that sometimes you
don't have the right tool for the job.
