Sounds like a couple of readers I've got here (not SCM by any chance?)
Yeah, the interface seems simple enough but since I don't have any tapes to
read (unless I punch them myself) it's very low on my todo list.

It would not be terribly difficult to create an interface to
a PC parallel port. I did that some time ago.
