[cctalk] GEM95 cable

I have a cable with two heads on one end and a rj45 phone connector on the other end. On the two-headed side is a 25-pin ( serial female RS232 ?) and 9-pin (serial female RS232 ?) The 25 pin adapter has a GEM95 sticker on it. What was this cable used for? BIll
