Microsoft changed the way drivers worked and so you needed new drivers. Many people had
hardware that didn’t work after upgrading to Vista so that and eveything said by others in
this list contributed to the hatred. It was a botched rollout that Microsoft continues to
do to this day.
Nadella really needs to get a handle on testing.

Technical reasons for disliking it may have been different. It appeared
after I had abandoned their products and I never had to deal with it.
