I can visualize, and am impressed with, how you offset tracks for
alignment diskettes, but I'm having difficulty imagining the Dysan
mechanism. Large intersector gaps, and a separate pass for writing each
sector?
Oh, I know--I have those in 8" and 5.25" media. My point was that
successive offset in tracks was good enough for government work.
