You must lowlevel format them first. There's a utility (on the Utilities
disk) called INITIAL to do this. You will have to choose the layout and
density, i.e. format 1-9 and, if applicable, how many extra directory
tracks (only on DD disks). Only then you will be able to mark them.
OH, and I finally got to talk about the 5100 series.
I'm not the best
