The 360/20 had only halfword instructions, no
float, no char strings.
But, main storage was 16 bits wide.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "char strings", but SS
instructions
MVC, MVN, MVZ, CLC, ED, TR were in the set, (but not, say, TRT, EDMK, etc.)
