People never give up on these things as this is not the first reference I
have come across in the recent years about this connector being made new.
I can't find the previous one, but overall I find it quite reassuring.
I wonder if these are from a group buy not long ago, where someone got a
manufacturer to gin up a lot of them (minimum order was something like
1,000).
