If my 2 cents matters (not likely), I didn't see it as an argument either. An ancient DEC disk should best be handled by someone with loads of specific DEC knowledge. If there are other ways to solve the problem, and there often are, hey use them. Are there any formats a GW can't handle? What about hard sectored disks? I guess that would depwnd on what drive was used?
