We have an 8650 at the Rhode Island Computer Museum.
Unfortunately I don't
think that there is any home of getting it running again.

What are the reasons to believe that there is only little hope for the one at RICM?
Did you start to work on getting it up and running?
Indeed, if the boards are faulty, then it will be challenging to fix them or find
replacements, I guess.
