Pin 4 is "Head Load" Pin 6 can be either "Ready" or drive select 4 Pin 10 is drive select for first drive. Pin 34 is "READY", or "Disk Changed", or fourth drive selrct (TRS80) BUT, IBM PC puts a twist in the cable (pins 10 - 16?), and does selection by the cable with all drives jumpered to be second drive.
